I'm sure this has been discussed before but I'll ask anyway. Has anyone you know been saved by using their hook knife? I figure it is something that you'll probably never need but will be very happy to have it if you do. What were the circumstances? I would think that people who do canopy relative work would be more likely to need it, but I can imagine other situations were it might save your life. Anybody out there with a story to tell.
