On September 13 space shuttle orbiter vehicle Challenger was rolled out to launch complex 39-A at Kennedy Space Center in preparation for its early October launch. Challenger was rolled out with only two of its three main engines, while work is being done on the third. This is not expected to delay the launch. Launch for the eight-day mission is expected to be around October 4. A rehearsal countdown is scheduled for September 15. -- Roger Noe ihnp4!ihlts!rjnoe
