The beta-release of `groff' (version 0.3.1) is available via anonymous ftp
from prep.ai.mit.edu:~ftp/pub/gnu/groff-0.3.tar.Z. It is also probably
available via uucp from osu-cis. `groff' is written in C++, so you will
need a C++ compiler implementing version 2.0 or later. g++ 1.37.1 or later
is recommended.

Oh yeah... from the README.. this is the GNU groff document formatting
system. It includes implementations of troff, pic, eqn, tbl, and the man
macros, and drivers for PostScript, TeX dvi format, and typewriter-like
devices. Also included is a version of the Berkeley me macros and an
enhanced version of the X11R4 xditview.

You will also want to obtain the file "groff.diff-0.3-0.3.1" since groff is
at version 0.3.1 now.

Enjoy...
