[alt.sources.wanted] Microsoft Windows 3.0 Write Program

lintw@mentor.cc.purdue.edu (Tad) (10/23/90)

Does anybody out there have the format for files that are used
by the Write program in Microsoft Windows? (all files
that have the extenstion *.wri )

I plan to write a spell checker for *.wri files.

Well.. that sounds like a GREAT idea, and keep me informed as to your
progress in the venture. Currently, I am marketing Windows 2.x and 3.x
application collections for some local (SYRACUSE) area stores. If you're
interested, maybe I could see if they wanted to carry that, also.

Currently, what I'm doing is just outputting the file
as TEXT. And, checking it that way.... a bit more to do, but.. it works
flawlessly. Then printing the .WRI file.

Hope that info helped at ALL!
