Today's scheduled launch of the space shuttle Discovery has been postponed by at least one day due to stiff shear winds at high altitudes over the Kennedy Space Center. NASA reached this decision just one-half hour before Discovery's main engines were to ignite. A new launch time has not been officially announced, but is likely to be around 7:40 a.m. EST. -- Roger Noe ihnp4!ihlts!rjnoe
