[alt.sources.wanted] Sources for NUMERICAL RECIPES in C

es2a+@andrew.cmu.edu (Eric Stuyvesant) (01/12/91)

Hi. Does anyone have or know of an FTP site that has electronically
readable copies of the programs listed in NUMERICAL RECIPES in C: The
Art of Scientific Computing, by Press, Flannery, Teukolsky, and
Vetterling?

Alternately/Additionally, does anyone have the FORTRAN versions of
these programs?

Many Thanks In Advance.

These routines are copyright and for sale, and can only be
purchased on disc. They are not legally available by remote FTP or
	email.

The C versions are obvious translations of Fortran originals, which
are also available on disc, and again for a fee. Consult the
distributor from which you purchased the book.
