The next shuttle launch is schedualed for some time in late January.
It will a "secret" militay mission, so they will not announce the launch
until a few hours before it actually goes up. (so that it will be harder
for anyone to track). There will not be (supposedly) any news from the
shuttle relayed back to earth for the media, and the landing will be the
same as the launch, no announced time until just before.

When I was at the Kennedy Space Center last week (the visitor's center is a great place!) they said that the next shuttle launch would be January 23. This date was confirmed in this Sunday's Newark Star Ledger. Walt Morris AT&T Technologies ...ihnp4!attunix!wsm
