[alt.sources.wanted] Journaling NewsGroups

nelson@wrl.epi.com (Ken Nelson) (02/27/91)

Net:

I have noticed that some of newsgroups (for example comp.sys.sun,a
and comp.pc.digest) are journaled. We have newsgroups internal to
our organization that I might want to journal for our non news
reading folks. What tools are available to do this?

Thanks!

I'm not sure what you mean by "journaled," but I assume you're talking about
the digests which take several news postings and put them into one E-mail
message.

If that's what you mean, see the "digest" package in volume 1 of the
comp.sources.unix archive and the "maildigest" package in volume 6 of the same
archive.

  Hope this helps.
