I don't know much about xphoto - it is possible it only deals with 2-D FAX encoding? Because pbmtog3 and g3topbm only deal with 1-D... --- Jef Jef Poskanzer jef@well.sf.ca.us {ucbvax, apple, hplabs}!well!jef There are very few personal problems that cannot be solved through a suitable application of high explosives.

What version of the pbmplus package are you working with? The file /contrib/pbmplus.tar.Z in export.lcs.mit.edu's anonymous ftp spool contains a very new release of the software. It's quite possible that if there are bugs in what you're using, they're fixed in the newer code. -- Jonathan Kamens USnail: MIT Project Athena 11 Ashford Terrace jik@Athena.MIT.EDU Allston, MA 02134 Office: 617-253-8085 Home: 617-782-0710
