Sinario is one Unix machine (BSD+Sys V Hybrid) with Wide area ethernet
(ie - long distant slip lines). At the end of a slip line is a
pc-router and a short piece of thin-ethernet - attached to two or
three PC's running as terminals. I'd like to hang off a parallel
printer off one of these PC's and address it as a network printer so
that any of the 3 PC's can use it as a spooled printer from the main
Unix Box. I also need to use that same PC as a terminal - at the same
time.
I'm looking for ideas on which TCP-IP software to use - or must I roll
my own?
