[alt.sources.wanted] top 2.1 on OSx5.1?

news@massey.ac.nz (USENET News System) (06/04/91)

When compiling top on 5.1, I get:

_cp_time: not in /vmunix symbol table
/dev/kmem: reading _cp_time: Bad address

This went on 5.0, so something's changed. Before I go looking,
has anyone hacked top for 5.1?

Thanx,

I don't believe that there was a cp_time in the OSx 5.0 kernel either,
so maybe you are having a problem with preprocessor definitions?

I have top 2.5 src which works on 5.0 or 5.1. Mail me if you want a copy.
