I am looking for commercial and/or public domain routines for the Loader
Debugger Protocol (RFC 909). Advice on its suitability and alternatives
are also welcome.
My application has a clone (486) as the host. It will be programmed in
Microsoft C and we will probably be using FTP Software's link libraries for
TCP/IP support. The link will be serial (RS-422) running at normal baud rates
but also capable of high baud rates (115200, 1.25Mbaud). We will probably be
running a custom serial link protocol to minimize overhead in our target
system. The target system is a 68040 programmed in Ada.
