[comp.sys.m88k] 88K PID register version numbers

heath@ncrcae.Columbia.NCR.COM (Robert Heath) (11/14/89)

The 88K Processor Identification Register (PID) has a Version Number
field which identifies the particular mask version of the 88100 processor.
My MC88100 RISC Microprocessor User's Manual, 2nd edition does not call
out any assigned version number codepoints.
Have any code points been assigned, and how do they map to mask versions ?

Here are the ones that I know about:

	CPU MASK PID

	A B32K 1
	B B85P 3
	C B63S 5
	D.0 C89B 7
	D.5 (7)C89B 9
	E.0 C64D B
	E.1 (1)C64D D
	E.2 4C64D 0x11
