Hi -- I've been slowing adding to a repository of programs that i've ported over to the m88k. (There are more on their way, but UUCP is a drag). All work under DG/UX 4.31, and i have tried (on all except for Austin Kyoto Common Lisp and memctl()) to stay BCS/OCS complaint. (Unfortunately my BCS and OCS copies are 1.0 and i dont have the money to buy new ones!) Below is a list. I'll happily receive bugs IF they include patches. I'm too (far, far,) late on other things to hand-hold though. If you are one of those people whose keyboard locks up every once in a while, there's a small program that you can put in your 'for any keyboard modifier' X-menu that will reset the machine so you dont have to reboot. epoch-patches/ -- epoch patches for DGUX and many extensions including nice temporary buffers. soon to be updated. fileutils-1.4-diffs -- patches to Gnu fileutils for m88k. only some tested (esp. nice for 'ginstall' !) gdb-3.5a-tar.Z -- one gdb gdb-3.5a.warning -- but dont use it gdb-patches-3.5-3.5mon1 -- how to make the above gdb-3.6.tar.Z -- use this one or DG's ispell.t.Z -- useful! less.t.Z -- slighly modified to allow virtual chars. lwf.tar.Z -- how i print ASCII files on a PS printer (after UUCP) make-3.59-diffs -- patches to gnu make 3.59 to work on m88k sbprolog.diffs -- OLD patches to SB prolog for m88k. probably no longer needed! sc.t.Z -- the spreadsheet shar.t.Z -- shar/unshar for the lazy which.t.Z -- which which !? xdvi.t.Z -- dvi previewer for X, ported to m88k, _slightly_ extended for font missing routines xpic.t.Z -- a drawing program. barely tested xv.Patch -- patch for standard release of 'xv' (gif viewer) xv.t.Z -- full release (patched by above) of 'xv'
