Has anyone been able to use the tn3270 program to connect to an AS/400? I have the sources in the Contributed Software tape for AViiON Systems, Revision 2.0. It compiles ok, but the connection is always closed at the begining by the AS/400 (maybe the problem is there). The configuration is: ___ / \ / \ | | AViiON 300 IBM 8209------| TOKEN |---IBM AS/400 DG/UX 4.31 BRIDGE | RING | OS/400 3.0 | | \ / IBM TCP/IP --------------------------- \___/ Here's a dump of the protocol copied from a vi screen, there are two non-ascii characters after the terminal type. < 0x0 fffd18 RCVD do TERMINAL TYPE (reply)^M SENT will TERMINAL TYPE (don't reply)^M > 0x0 fffb18 < 0x0 fffa1801fff0 Received suboption Terminal type - request to send.
