[comp.sys.m88k] gcc compiler on Tek XD88s

tev@ulrik.uio.no (Tevfik Karagulle) (05/13/91)

For a while ago, I have seen some articles mentioning existence of 'gcc'
compiler on recently doomed Tektronix XD88s. We have two of them and I am
very interested in having gcc on our workstations. Is there anybody who can
show me pointers ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I did the "port" of gcc to the XD88. All I did was get the Data
General gcc-88k from their internet site and install. It worked
beautifully. The only tweak that I recall was to rename loader command
files that live in a different place in the XD88.

(Don't ask me for any of this, it's long since de-rezzed. Ask DG.)
