[net.columbia] Challenger to Land at EAFB

Due to the brake failure and tire blowout of Discovery
and the fact that Challenger will be bearing Spacelab-3
(Spacelab-2 will be launched later in the year) when it
blasts off next Monday (the 29th), NASA has decided that
the shuttle will land at EAFB, where there is more room
for error than at KSC. This will break a string of four
straight KS landings and add several days to Challenger's
turnaround.
