Due to the brake failure and tire blowout of Discovery and the fact that Challenger will be bearing Spacelab-3 (Spacelab-2 will be launched later in the year) when it blasts off next Monday (the 29th), NASA has decided that the shuttle will land at EAFB, where there is more room for error than at KSC. This will break a string of four straight KS landings and add several days to Challenger's turnaround.
