Hi there! I've recently gotten back into SWL after a >25 year hiatus. A few things have changed :-). Anywho I am using a Sangean ATS-803A receiver with a 50 foot wire strung around the eaves of my house (for eavesdropping :-). I am located in the Los Angeles area near the top of a 1200 foot hill (Palos Verdes). I have an Apple //e computer. I recently started monitoring usenet & genie groups on the subject for frequencies & tips. I have noticed references to IBM PC software to enhance SWLing by translating CW, RTTY, Fax, etc. I do not have the funds to go put & buy another computer system. So, the obvious question is: Is there an Apple // software (preferably PD or inexpensive) available that will work in conjunction with my receiver to allow me to do more than just listen to talk? Thanks, in advance. ===================================================================== Paul Blumstein | The Good News: My teeth are perfect Citicorp/TTI | The Bad News: My gums are falling out Santa Monica, CA +-------------------------------------------------- {philabs, psivax, pyramid}!ttidca!paulb or paulb@tti.com AMA #379702, HOG #251142, DoD #36, ABATE of CA #3252GS, M-Riders DISCLAIMER: I did not kill Laura Palmer
