and clearly leaked out due to properties of the news system. But I am
gating them on to the net anyway, since they are positive signs and may
also attract some helpful comments for the students. Please note, my

There is now a new newsgroup, called "uiuc.org.rkba", for communications
about a forming campus/student organization supporting the Right to Keep
and Bear Arms.
This group is not yet registered and the name has not be decided upon yet.
Some suggested names include:
RKBA (of UIUC)
Second Amendment Association (of UIUC)
More suggestions and discussion are welcome.
We also need a meeting date for some initial get togethers to get some
things rolling, such as the paperwork to register as a student organization.
For that, at least two students are need to fill the two officer positions
that are mandatory for student organizations (president and treasurer).
Volunteers?

This article is to announce the new newsgroup at UIUC called:
uiuc.org.rkba
which is for use in the support of a forming student organization
for promoting the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
Some matters at hand:
1. Deciding on the name of the group. Some suggestions include:
RKBA (of UIUC)
Second Amendment Association (of UIUC)
2. Arranging an initial meeting or two to get things rolling for fall.
3. At least TWO students need to volunteer to become initial officers
of the club for purposes of registering as a student organization.
