On Feb.1st, a package of a PC, a laser printer and a fax machine was
donated to FCSSC by Toronto Zhong Hua Hui Guan and a democracy
Foundation. FCSSC will use this system to build its information
centre and serve the Press Freedom Herald canada edition.
FCSSC has so far accepted the donations from many organizations
and individuals in Canada and overseas. The sponsored projects
included: 1st national forum for democracy in China; the video
tape--struggle for democracy; system for information centre;
printing expenditure for FCSSC newsletter; communication expendi-
ture for FCSSC and etc.
FCSSC's headquater office is under construction in Toronto, it
will consist of an office space, office personnels and is
expected to carry out the routine function of FCSSC.
FCSSC is a student organization serving for the Chinese stu-
dents and scholars in Canada, independant of any political organ-
izations. FCSSC executives are a group of volunteer students
elected during the 1st national conference of Chinese students
and scholars in Canada.
The success of FCSSC depends on all the Chinese students in
Canada and FCSSC executives welcome any suggestion, criticism and
contribution from Chinese students across Canada. FCSSC's commun-
