The Dream is Alive is a 30 - 35 minute documentary of the space shuttle. I just returned from Washington, DC where the Smithsonian Institute is showing the film. The film is shown on the Smithsonian's giant wall screen. It shows actual footage of launches, deployments, life in space, etc. The film is unlike the garbled pictures we see on TV. It was quite an experience. Entry to the Smithsonian is free, but the film costs $1.50 (well worth it).
