We are using PS/2's and OS/2 in "non-traditional" PC applications. That is, no spreadsheets, relational databases, etc. We are using them for servers off of high speed communications networks. (BTW, NO, I don't consider OS/2 anything close to a real-time system, to follow-up on an earlier thread.) Anyway, a necessary tool OS/2 lacks is system monitoring capabilities. CPU utilization, memory utilization, swapping rates, cache hit rates etc, are useful pieces of information for tuning and monitoring these systems. Of course, using AIX will give us many of those features and we will be moving to it shortly, BUT in the meantime, is anyone aware of any system monitoring tools that are available for OS/2? If I have to, I will write some, but right now I would rather buy than build. John O'Brien | "And you run and you run to catch up ..!bellcore!ctt!johno or johno@ctt | to the sun but it's sinking."
