Hi there, I've seen with interest many of the binary postings on this group. I'm very glad that this is happening. A lot of great utilities have appeared. I do have one suggestion though. Could we follow the same procedure for posting binaries as is followed in the COMP.BINARIES.IBMPC group? In COMP.BINARIES.IBMPC the moderator uses a shell script to put standard headers and footers on the postings. These happen to match an MS-DOS uuencode and uudecode program I use. The advantage to this is I can download the parts into separate files, then run this program. It will automatically strip the headers and footers of each of the parts, put the parts together, and uudecode the files. I can do everything in one step instead of having to manually strip off the headers, etc. I don't have the script files handy (as I do it all using this PC program) but it should be in a message regularly in the COMP.BINARIES.IBMPC newsgroup.
