[comp.os.os2] LaTeX for OS/2

I have thought of this too.  I often thought about doing the port
myself, but I just don't have the time.   
 
I would like this because I think that OS/2 is better able to
handle TeX than DOS is.  I don't like having to reboot my PC from a
floppy just so that I can leave enough free RAM to load DOSTEX.

I'd be interested in knowing any efforts that others may be making in this
direction.

Is LaTeX available for OS/2?

I have a TeX compiler for OS/2 and INITeX too. It runs well with the
Texinput of my PC-TeX except SliTeX. But I do not have a DVI Previewer
and DVI driver for 24pin-Printers to use with the PC-TeX fonts.

Does anybode else have such DVI programs ?
If there is enough interest, I could post the TEX and INITEX programs to
this news group.
