I have been in touch with the moderator of comp.sources.misc and he has agreed to take OS/2 sources in comp.sources.misc which is already both widely distributed and archived. Please post all sources ONLY to comp.sources.misc and then post a brief note in comp.os.os2 alerting people that the sources have been posted to comp.sources.misc so that they can then grab them if desired. The moderator of that group does a good job of being timely about turn-around so there should be no delays of the magnitude that happen with the IBM PC binaries group from time to time. Posting sources to comp.os.os2 is counterproductive because they will not be archived whereas sources posted to c.s.m are archived. I don't see sufficient demand yet for separate OS/2 sources group, so I will not be persuing its creation. (See related posting about the binaries proposal.)
