   Well, first of all, the asynchronous communication in CM is not as good
as the COM packages available for the COM0x-driver, but if you really want
to run the CM, it is possible to run it on the most BBS's, by setting the
line characteristics at 7 databits, 1 stopbit, and parity space.  I know
that it is possible some way, because I ran the CM with some BBS's before
knowing what was going to be "standard" in the future.
