[comp.os.os2] WinWord in the DOS box

I run WinWord in the DOS box and it does work. I do this because I
like to multi-task, and more importantly, because I run an HPFS only
system. It is fairly slow, and is swapping overlays constantly, but
HPFS makes it bearable. Its pretty good unless you start using
complicated macros, and then it gets quite slow. But I tried it in
DOS and wasn't overwhelmed by its performance there either. It may
be slow, but otherwise it's pretty darn great. Everything you
could possibly want in a word processor and a whole lot I never even
thought about putting in a word processor (it's own programming
language, with real procedure, arrays, and variables...wow!)
And the table formatting is pretty great too. Although it runs
in the DOS box, I think it will replace OS/2 Word 5.0 as my primary
word processor.
