[comp.os.os2] Ramping up: NCSA Telnet in DOS box

The OS/2 1.X DOS box does not run in the background. TELNET dies
probably after some timeout.

When the DOS Compatibility Box is active, the OS/2 processes run in the back-
ground.

However, if the user switches from the DOS Compatibility Box back to PM, then
the DOS box is suspended.  Execution of any processes resumes as soon as the
DOS box is made active again.
