NASA decided to go ahead with the second deployment today,
and Discovery's crew complied. American Satellite Co.'s satellite
was deployed successfully one orbit later than planned. It
was always to have been deployed today, but an emergency
deployment of an Australian satellite pushed the scheduled
behind. It was the first time in the shuttle program that
two satellites were deployed in one day.
