I bought an SE/30 when they were first introduced, knowing that I could eventually expand to color. This is the reason that I didn't wait for the IIcx. When the first color cards for the SE/30 came out, I was a bit shocked to find that they cost (with out monitor) about half of what I paid for the machine in the first place. What really gnaws on my hind end is the fact that they should be **cheaper** than Nu-Bus cards, but they are priced much higher. OK, I understand that they are a more recent product than MacII video cards, and that there is less competition in the area, but I want COLOR. What I'm really getting at is this, does anyone know of a cheap 8-bit color board for the SE/30 that will drive an apple color monitor, no frills, no flash - just the bare essentials. I saw something in MacWEEK a while ago that would be about $600, but it was a "coming soon" type of deal. Thanks, Al
