Hello everybody,
A couple of days ago, the floppy drive on my Mac SE weirded out - it
simply refused to read formatted disks (I get the "This disk is
Damaged" dialog). At first I thought one of my disks had gone bad, so I
ran it through Disk First Aid, which seemed to have fixed it (although
it did say no repair necessary). Later I put another disk in the drive
and again the damged disk dialog. Uh oh. Another disk, same problem.
Looks like a hardware problem. Anybody know what could cause the drive
to flake out on me like that? I'm taking it to the computer doctors
tomorrow, but I'd still like to know what happened.
