Here is a hardware question for all you netters.
Our department is looking into a appletalk fileserver with a backup
system. So far the server has been decided upon but not the backup
system. I recently talked with our computer center and they seem to be
leaning towards some sort of "Bernoulli Disk" removable system for the
backing up of the fileserver.
What are the advantages of this removable disk backup system over a tape backup?
What are some good removable disk systems?(WE are looking at something
to backup about 40-45 meg daily)
What is a general price range that this type of hardware costs?
