I was upgrading some Mac SE's (dual superdrives) today when I noticed something very stange on the inside of the case of the very last SE. It was the imprint of several signatures ! I can remember the old days, when I tore apart my 128K Mac and found the imprints on the inside of the case, but I didn't think Apple was still doing that, and especially since one of the signatures was that of steven jobs, and the imprint wasn't on all of my SE's. Does anybody have the Inside Scoop on this ? Mark Rosenberg <21602MR@MSU.BITNET> Educational Systems Development Michigan State University

(or at least "optional") a one-year old SE i took apart did NOT have the signatures, a 3-month old one did! -- dick

They were in the original 128K Macs. I thought that by now they would be gone, but when I opened up my 10 month old SE, they were still there. -- -- -- | | --- ----- --- |\ | ---- ---- ----- | | | | | |___ | |___| | \ | | __ | __ | | | | |___| ____| | | | | \| |____| |____| | ...there is no substitute (except a ZR1 'vette!)
