Does anyone know what the SuperMac ``SpeedCard'' does? I've seen it listed in the ComputerWare catalog and am wondering if it's a RAM cache (a la Orchid's MacSprint) for the 68020 in a II. Does anyone have any experience with these things? Is the elimination of a memory wait state noticeable on a II? Thanks in advance Kurt Marko

Depending on the SpeedCard you buy, you will get either a 16 MHz 68000 or a 16MHz 68020. Actually, I'm not sure... perhaps only the 16 MHz 68000. --- Alex UUCP: {att,backbones}!ucbvax!franny!c8s-an INTERNET: c8s-an%franny.berkeley.edu@ucbvax.berkeley.edu FIDONET: Alex.Lau@bmug.fidonet.org (1:161/444)
