After waiting for I don't know how long, I finally received my Sharp Organizer link for the Macintosh. It's nice not to have to key in all that stuff by hand on the Wizard, but the software interface really sucks. I assume it's written by an IBM type. Here's some comments from the section on menus in the manual: Menus in Organizer link behave slightly differently than traditional Macintosh menus. Each menu title is actutally a distinct button that you click and hold to display its menu items. In other words, the Organizer link menus are not in a typical menu bar, even though they may look so on a 9-inch Macintosh monitor. You cannot drag the mouse across the "menu bar" to view all menus.... Hmm, pretty nice of the author to follow Apple guidelines. Anyway the whole package sits on top of Hypercard, alas with rather crude graphics. I suspect the IBM package looks awfully like the Mac. I can bemoan the thing to death, but I guess it's better than nothing. I hope in the future some other company can write and release a better product. -- Rodian Paul Big Electric Cat Public UNIX ..!cmcl2!hombre!dasys1!rpaul
