Well the new FDHD drive from Apple won't work with my Macplus. I've seen some advertisements for the rapport which allows me to read an IBM disk on my internal drive, but it seems a bit pricey. I would be interested in hearing from someone who has one of these gizmos. How does it work? What is the cheaper solution? Is there a way for me to read an IBM 3.5 disk on my internal floppy without hardware mods? I've tried Apple File Exchange 1.1.1 with no success. I really don't care what format the IBM disk is in, as long as both machines can read the disk. Writing to the IBM disk on the mac is not needed. It seems to me that a piece of software would be able to read a 720K IBM disk on an 800K mac drive, but I'm no hardware guru. If software can't do it, and someone out there has a cheap hardware hack, I'm not afraid to open my mac - as long as I don't touch that wire on the monitor! 8-) Thanks for any help! -- "Don't be too proud of this technological terror you've constructed.
