[comp.sys.mac.hardware] SCSI Tape drives to do tape backup

davely@mcrware.UUCP (Dave Lyons) (01/04/90)

When I got my Mac Plus a while back it came with a tape
backup utillity (I forget the exact name and my machine's at
home). Anyway, I figured that it must work with a drive over
the SCSI bus. I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of
drive this standard software expects and what of setup is nec-
essary as far as parity and controller ID on the SCSI bus.
We have a few SCSI tape drives around here and I would like
to use one of them to backup my machine instead of having to
use floppies. Please e-mail or post info as appropriate.

Thanks for any help.
