I have an SE/30 with an Ethernet card. At some point in the future, I would like to add a larger screen. What's the best way to go about this? As far as I know, my only choice is to get a SCSI Ethernet unit. Do these work invisibly with AppleTalk? I guess the best idea might be to trade up to a IIci or whatever Apple is selling next year. -- David Elliott dce@smsc.sony.com | ...!{uunet,mips}!sonyusa!dce (408)944-4073 "Never call a crazed psychotic a crazed psychotic."

They work fine (I've used the Adaptec Nodem and Dove FastNet SCSI), but they will be slower that a PDS Ethernet board in some conditions. Still better than LocalTalk, though. You can also put a NuBus expansion chassis on an SE/30 and add boards to your heart's content. Amanda Walker InterCon Systems Corporation --
