I got two recommendations from Computerware. One was for a place called the Mac Doctor at (415)964-2131. The other was for an independent guy who I gather has a side business in memory upgrades and repairs. His name is Brian Smythe at (408)865-0742. I have no direct experiance with those folks but I trust Computerware (who by the way may also do repairs, give them a call, they have stores in Palo Alto and Sunnyvale, sorry don't know the number).
