[comp.sys.mac.hardware] Advice Wanted: FAX modems

I'm looking into buying a Fax modem for my Mac IIcx.

Any advice, suggestions, or experiences would be welcome!  Are there
good brands, bad brands, good software, etc?  Are fax modems workable,
or should I forget the whole idea?
