[comp.sys.mac.hardware] TEAC N50 tape drive problem. HELP!

jason@cs.utexas.edu (Jason Martin Levitt) (02/15/90)

I've been trying to remove the 3.5" faceplate from
a TEAC N50 tape drive so that I can put the 5.25"
faceplate on. One screw is easily accessible. The other
screw, however, is hidden under a flat piece of metal. In
order to remove that piece of metal, two *very* tiny screws
must be removed. I have been unable to remove either of the two
screws even when using the appropriate jeweler's screwdriver.
Can anyone help?
