[comp.sys.mac.hardware] 4-MBit chips in SE/30

xdaa374@ut-emx.UUCP (William T. Douglass) (02/15/90)

We want to set-up a 30MB RAM-disk as part of our AppleShare server.
The machine is an SE/30, 6.0.3, Ashare 2.0. Question: can we use the new
4-Mbit chips on the motherboard, and can we use memory above the 8MB
range as a RAM-disk (if we put 32MB in the system, will any software
be able to use it?)

Thanks for your responses.
