I will be getting a Mac IIci in a couple of weeks, and I have an internal Apple 160 (out of a Mac IIx). I was wondering if I will be able to use the 160 MB drive in the ci? If it is relevant, I plan to use onboard video. If this is not possible, is there some sort of kit which I can get to easily change the Apple internal 160 into an external? Also, I am using another SCSI device which is internally terminated.... If any of you have tried something similar to this, I would be interested in hearing a solution. Thanks

You won't be able to use in 160i internally to the ci as it's a full height 5.25" drive. You can get an enclosure from several sources that will work just fine. Tulin's A-Hive and MacZones enclosures are nice and have an external SCSI switch pak for easy address changes. MacZone advertises in most Mac mags. Tulin in Byte. I've used both, MacZone's look nicer :-) --------------------------------- Kevin D.
