Hi, I am in the process of looking into a Mac IIci system and I already have a NEC multisync II monitor at my disposal. Can anyone tell me if this will work and what I will have to do to get it going? It would be nice not to have to spring for a monitor (and I do need color). Thanks for any replys. To convince the Macintosh IIci built-in video (or new Mac II video cards) that an AppleColor RGB or High-Res Mono monitor or compatible monitor is attached, ground pin 4 of the video connector. The IIci BIV and new video cards use ID lines to identify monitor types. A NEC MultiSync II should work fine if you ground pin 4. -Dave -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Dave (Gimme more MHz) Wells, Apple Computer, Inc.
