I just had my mouse replaced because it had a tendency to let the cursor drift to one side of the screen. The "new" mouse does exactly the same thing. Has anyone else encountered this phenomenon? If you quickly move the mouse towards the right hand side of the screen and lift it slightly, the cursor will keep on rolling towards the right edge and pin itself against the screen. This isn't normal behavior and I wonder if it isn't system 6.0.4 or a mechanical problem endemic to mice in the new machines. The new micehave a "black" coloured ball as opposed to older mice with the white ball. I think Apple's intention was to make mouse motion smoother, but instead it just allows irratic drifting cursors. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.....
