I have the standard Apple color monitor. The three colors are not aligned properly, which makes things fuzzy in B&W, and worse in color. Is there a simple way to adjust the relative position of the 3 color beams? Eran Yehudai eran@r2d2.stanford.edu

There's an access door on the back of the monitor (on the left side as you look toward the back). Gently pry the door off at the top and you'll see two knobs that can be turned with your fingers. One will adjust the beams vertically and one horizontally. Adjust them so that detail at the center of the screen converges into black & white without any color fringing. Don't try adjusting any of the other adjustments that require a screwdriver. Andy
