While reading the 3/26 issue of InfoWorld, I found the following article / press release: ( reprinted w/o permission ) Hewlett-Packard has announced an enhanced HP Deskwriter printer that offers AppleTalk capabilities as well as serial interfaces. Shipment is set for May 1. The new version replaces the original product, and, like its predecessor, is designed for personal use and comes with four outline font families. It retains the price of $1195. An upgrade kit for current HP Deskwriter owners is availiable for $140 through authorized dealers. HP has cut the prices on some font products: A set of seven font families, originally $395, now costs $195. Individual font families that were $95 are now $59. Hewlett-Packard Co., 1931 PruneRidge Ave., Cupertino, CA 95014; (800)752-0900 Any questions, don't ask me! This was the entire press release. Marshall Clow mclow@telesoft.com
