I can wholeheartedly recommend this combo. It really really runs Mac software "out-of-the-box" without a hitch, and will read/write 800K floppies in its drive. At ComDex last, Sandy Small was running MultiCrasher with 4Mbytes and a whole BunchLoad of apps, including copy-protected (key disk) software. It's real, alright. The funniest part was that she was using a 4/40Mbyte system, well before the McBrick portable was available in that config. And you had to maneuever through the Apple employees gaping at What Dave Had Wrought... There are a few limits. The Spectre GCR is external on the STacy ;-{ until Dave figures how to internalize it, so the whole setup's a bit more clunky than you'd like on a portable. And I don't believe the special Portable functions (sleep, power mgmt. et al) are enabled. Alex
