Well, it really depends on what the used MacII includes.  If it is just the
system unit (no keyboard, no graphics) then its no great deal. The consortium 
price here at UR is $6720 for an fx with 4 megs and 80 megs.  What is the 
warranty and new power supply worth to you?  If on the other hand, the MACII 
includes graphics and a keyboard, you will basically save their cost. If
you already own a complete MacII with graphics then it would be almost
better to buy the new fx system unit.  You would then have the new fx with
graphics plus the old II which could be fitted with cheap graphics and used
as a second machine.  The key to this deal is getting a really cheap used
II.
