Does anyone know if it will be possible to actually program CPU on the new
accelerated video card from apple? I've been thinking of using one to
prototype some 3d game stuff and it would be VERY convenient if I could load
some simple co-ordinant bashing and bitmap warping routines into the
video card.
I'm sure Apple would rather people didn't write programs that depended
on the card being there, but for prototyping it could be very handy. Anyone
know if it will be possible?
